#13 Fresh Flora Vase

#13 Fresh Flora Vase

This vase has a soft, white, limestone-like finish— a little rough, like something left out in the weather. Made by hand with recycled paper pulp and mineral hardener, shaping it with a long, thin neck that stands tall but simple. Inside, there’s a recycled glass bottle so it can hold water for flowers or whatever you’d like.

It’s got a quiet feel to it—a shape that’s a bit unusual but easy to be around. You might want to touch it or set it somewhere it can sit and breathe. It works in a plain room or one with a bit more going on—either way, it feels steady.

I use natural pigments—ground-up minerals and clay—mixed by hand and brushed on lightly. They sink into the surface unevenly, giving it a worn, faded look. Each one turns out different, which feels right to me.

No chemicals or bright colours here—just the earth’s own tones and a slow way of working. It’s not trying to stand out; it’s just something I made that feels honest.

It’s a vase, sure, but it’s also something simple and real, ready to hold a few stems or just sit there.
